What has been going on in our lives you may wonder, since I have not blogged very often???

Well, the truth is, we have some very exciting news...... We are building a new house!!! We are so excited, the pictures are of the builders model home that is the same home we are building. We lucked out, the builder gave us the lot as a promotion this month, so that saved us about $35,000. With that big savings we were able to do some big changes with the house and still come in under our target budget!! We extended the back of the house out 2' and one side out 2', we also added that nook you see in the picture and a fireplace.

The new neighborhood is in one of the best school systems in Indiana, so we are excited to get Cami into their schools.

We are so excited about this house, it is a ranch with split bedrooms. It's 1400 sq.ft and then the basement is also 1400 sq.ft, we will have that finished with another bedroom and bathroom and a big family room, toy area and a storage room.

Besides getting the free lot, we also got $6000 in free upgrades, so we are going next week to pick out all our goodies!!!

Now onto more important news, Cami is taking about 5-7 steps at a time, well on her way to walking. She is getting so big, it amazes me. 6 months ago she would tip over if you sat her up, now walking!!! She has changed so much in the 6 months we have been a family.

My husband keeps asking me what I want for Christmas and my answer is, nothing! I seriously have everything I have ever wanted: my daughter being the most important.
