I am off work today, I work tomorrow and then I am off until after Labor Day!!!!! YEAH!!!!!

My Mom and I stopped in to see my husband at work today...... Well, I think he is getting really nervous!!!! I know he is really excited but, I think it is really hitting home that we are getting our girl. I am doing surprisingly well.... I thought I would have been the one getting all worked up and he would have been the calm one.

I think I am going to have to start slipping the new Dad some Xanax!!!! And, maybe I take one for myself for good measure.....

Thursday night (Indiana time) we will be seeing our girl. Vietnam is 12 hours ahead if us here in the Eastern time zone, so I know that is going to kick my butt, oh well!!!

I am just truly amazed that we meet our girl THIS WEEK!!!!!!

You are probably so relaxed because of all the pampering you have had! waxing, massage, pedicure etc...! maybe your Hubb needs a little waxing and pedi:)Enjoy these last couple of days together, maybe go have a nice romantic meal or somthing, just the two of you! Thursday, unbelivable how fast these last few weeks have flown by. I will be following along....(you are posting from there right?)

I agree..go to dinner with Hubby ... we have been home 18 months and have gone to dinner alone ONCE...do it now. Your life will change but it is all for the BETTER!!! Who needs to read the Sunday paper when you can read to your daughter instead...

Spend some time with him now, once you have that precious baby in your arms there's no turning back (like you even would want to!) It's good advice they give.

On another note, if dad gets a bit stressed tell him it is ok to take it a step at a time and not to stress over the big picture. My DH got way overwhelmed all three times we brought children home and many times he just had to step back, take a deep breath, and try to go with the flow. Not so easy with a new little one as sometimes you just don't know what they want.
Anyhow, I look forward to following your trip!
